Empowr Your Witness & Make Money Too

Empowr Your Witness & Make Money Too

Hello everyone, it’s good to be back. My apologies for the long delay in the post, but I’ve had some tight school deadlines and for the past week and ½ I’ve been really sick with bronchitis. I wanted to post a video but my Kindle wouldn’t upload the video to Amazon so I could download it and edit it and get it uploaded for you guys so I apologies for that as well. With that said, let’s get on with today’s post.
There are two types of Empower that I want to talk to you about today.
The first type of Empower that I want to talk to you about is how to empower your witness. The second type of Empowr I will talk about is how to make easy money while you witness.
So, let’s begin with the first type of Empower.
empower
[em-pou-er]
verb (used with object)
1.
to give power or authority to; authorize, especially by legal or officialmeans:
I empowered my agent to make the deal for me. The local ordinanceempowers the board of health to close unsanitary restaurants.
2.
to enable or permit:
Wealth empowered him to live a comfortable life.

As we have just read to Empower is to “give power or authority, especially by legal or official means”. Now, Jesus Christ being God and having all Authority in heaven and on earth; He then rightly has the Right to give you the power and authority for your witness to fall on the right ears at the right time. We can read this in Luke 9:1 – 2:
Luke 9:1-2King James Version (KJV)
Then he called his twelve disciples together (a Divine call), and gave them power and authority over all devils (demons), and to cure diseases (Spiritual Authority is never exercised over people, but always over the spirit world of darkness only [Luke 10:19].
And he sent them to preach (the great business of the true man of God is preaching) the kingdom of God (they were then to preach that the kingdom was now available, because the king was present; the King, regrettably, was rejected; the Message now is “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified,” which will ultimately all share in the Kingdom on Earth that will come about at the Second Coming [1Cor. 1:21, 23]), and to heal the sick (constituted a part of these missions, and continued all the days of the Early Church and unto the present; anyone under the New Covenant is allowed to pray for the sick and expect healing [Mark 16:17]). ESB (Black wording King James version – red wording commentary)
What we have here is Jesus calling his disciples together and giving them power and authority to witness to the lost world and be successful and then to pray for those that are sick and to heal them. Jesus Christ gives that authority to “All” who are saved and are His children. We automatically get that Empower when we become Saved and become one of God’s children.
To gain that extra Empower when we witness to others we need to pray before we go out to witness if we know that is what we are going to do, but we should automatically pray for this Empowerment in the morning when we wake up and do our morning prayer anyway because we never know when we’re going to meet someone whom God is going to put in front of us that he wants us to witness to that day anyway.
So, with that said I hope you understand the Empowerment that you have through Jesus Christ and the witness that he has given you as a child of God.
Now for the Empowr that will make you “Easy Money!”

Why We Pray?

Why We Pray?
There is more to the question “why we pray?” Then meets the eye. At first thought you think that it is just the way that we communicate with God, but there is much, much more to it than that. Actually, there is more to it than I will be able to put in this post, but I will get to that later. Today, I want to deal with the important aspects as to what the Bible tells us as to “Why We Pray?”

Today I want to look at Luke 18:1 – 8

Luke 18:1-8King James Version (KJV)

18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

(it doesn’t matter how much you claim it, without a proper prayer life, Faith cannot be truly exercised. You should never lose heart, continue to always believe, and keep on praying.) Red writing Rev. Floyd’s Insertion

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

(but still, there was a poor widow woman, who was without influence, who could change his mind to her will.)

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

(Do me justice.)

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

(in the beginning, he thought nothing about her shenanigans.)

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

(What this means is that every time the judge looked up she was in his face, and he gave up and finally gave her what she wanted!)

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

(So, the Lord says that if the judge will give up and listen to the petition of a woman who he cares nothing about, will not God surely listened to repeated prayers of someone who really loves with a deep enduring love?)

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

(Seeing that the judge was an unjust judge and knowing that God is not unjust like the judge was you must keep on praying, even though the judge delayed for selfish indifference, God at times delays for an all-wise purpose, depending on what is asked, or whether one has Faith or not.)

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

(This is the assurance that God will answer your prayer, and in comparison to men, He will answer “speedily”. Considering that the church has been taken out of the world, at the Second Coming there won’t be very much Faith in the world; nevertheless, this will not stop or hinder the Second Coming)

So how do we see this playing out in our daily lives?

First, we must take the time to pray every day. By praying every day we build a relationship with God that helps us to understand who He is and that He is there for us. This in itself builds our Faith and as our Faith builds we can truly exercise our Faith by continuing to ask God for what we want.

Now, don’t misunderstand me, we can’t just ask him for anything. What we asked for must align with God’s Will. How do you know what God’s will is? I’ll answer that question later, but for now every day prayer is where we start.

Seeing that this is the beginning of the year, I wanted to start this year out right. By starting our year out on prayer, I believe we will get more out of this year and a lot further than we can imagine by getting to know our creator better through prayer.

From The Desk of Rev. Floyd Cryer

From The Desk Of Rev. Floyd Cryer

Dear friends,

I am more excited about sharing this new year of 2017 here at Testimony & Prayer Ministries. I know this blog hasn’t been the best of blogs but this is going to change in the coming year! That is why I am sharing with you the full details of where God is leading Testimony & Prayer Ministries in the year of 2017 through this blog.

I am writing you from my desk where I have been busy for this last semester slam packed with a full itinerary of college curriculum so this blog has gone neglected, But I have the privilege of addressing this by backing down my curriculum this coming semester so that I can have the time to focus on God’s Will which is every one of your salvation and knowledge that is needed for personal growth in the kingdom of God.

I have plans to share with you the knowledge that you seek for the growth that you need and hopefully in the future that we can come together and unite all believers from around the world in prayer and peace as well as ministry and standing for and with God’s Chosen People.

The Lord has given me a commission to bring every one of you to Life through Salvation through Jesus Christ through knowledge from God’s Word from the beginning of time to the present time and instruct you on God’s Will through His Word and lay it before you in black-and-white so it cannot be disputed.

Yet, God gives you a will to choose Salvation. It is not something we force here at this blog. We do not prosthelytize here. We give you the information that you need which is nothing but the truth and we hope you do your own research so that you come to your own conclusions and in the end come back here and let others know; we have plenty of places for your comments and reactions.

In 2017 I will be challenging you to join me in challenging me in this capstone project as I bring you all the pieces that will come together to provide a great spiritual growth that we need to make 2017 the greatest year we have seen in our Spiritual life to date.

It is my prayer that you will be challenged, inspired, and blessed as you read this blog by Testimony & Prayer Ministries... And that you will respond with your most generous gift of comments and readership so that together we can see our dreams and growth in our spiritual life come to life. Thank you so much for your heart and your love and your readership and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and the best year to come in the year of 2017.
